What is the Healing Bonds Universe?
Well, in short, it is a larger world than what most authors write in. It’s a place where three cities are interconnected with each other: St. Louis, Missouri, St. Joseph, Missouri, and Santa Cruz, California. In each city, the stories may seem independent from each other, but as the stories progress, a single hair-size thread begins to connect them all together. Chains of Fate is set in St. Louis, Missouri, and starts with the Doctor’s Training trilogy. This is the ONLY trilogy that MUST be read in its entirety since the three books are one story in three arcs. The next series to debut in 2026 will be Joe Town Bound, set in St. Joseph, Missouri with the book Dark Honey. Finally, in late 2026, Silken Bonds will debut, taking place in Santa Cruz.
Each individual series has its own heroes, but it all comes back to the characters from Doctor’s Training in the end. They are the glue that binds the Healing Bonds universe together, and will be intertwined in all the stories that follow, even in a small way.
The other big uniting force is each set revolves around a BDSM club/dungeon in each city. Two—the one in St. Louis and the one in Santa Cruz—are loud and visible. But one, in St. Joseph is very much underground in a highly conservative area of the country. So there are some different dynamics, but these places are, again, interconnected.

Oh, so behind the scenes, things have been just wild. I’ve been working on my health, and boy has it been a doozy! I’ve been on Zepbound for a little over three months (mostly for A1C but also for weight). I’ve lost nearly 40 pounds and dropped my a1c from diabetic to normal range in that amount of time. I take other meds, of course, but the Zepbound was really the key to lowering it.
The issue is, though, my iron is low and they don’t know why. So, off to hematology and GI for me. THEN they found me tachycardic, so now I can’t take stimulants for hypersomnia and ADHD. So, that’s been fun…not really.
I’ve been doing a lot for my health, but different things keep popping up. But I’ll keep going on this journey!

Introducing: Bobby, the biggest baby there ever was.
As you can see by the furry state of my bed, he is a regular sleeping companion. He has one spot on the bed, and he gets very upset if that spot has something in it. He’ll paw and try to move it, and if I’m lying on it, he’ll paw at me to get me to move. Somehow, he’s trained himself to paw at my head to tell me he wants treats. I’m not sure who got trained, though, me or him.
