Beverly L. Anderson (they/she) began writing at age eleven, crafting stories in spiral notebooks filled with kidnappings, monsters, and forbidden love. That early passion evolved into a lifelong exploration of queer identity, trauma, and resilience through speculative fiction.
Drawn to the darker corners of the psyche, Beverly studied psychology and continues to weave emotional nuance into characters who defy their author’s will—and sometimes even their fate. Their writing is rich in hurt/comfort dynamics, queer love, and the radical act of healing.
When not writing, Beverly immerses herself in tabletop gaming, fanfiction, and advocacy for the trans, autistic, and BDSM communities. They walk an eclectic pagan path and proudly embrace their identities as bigender, autistic, panromantic, polyamorous, and asexual—truths discovered after thirty years of searching for self.
Beverly’s serious writing journey began in 2013 in the fanfiction world, where she penned over three million words before shifting to original works. Today, she continues to adapt those stories for a wider audience, guided by a fierce belief in queer storytelling as revolution.
